The Full Program

For those seeking an all-encompassing service, our Full Program integrates the essentials of both Colt Starting and Tune Up/Finishing services, supplemented with additional benefits to maximize your horse's training experience. This includes weekly lessons tailored to reinforce and build upon the training received, hauling out to practice works at various locations for real-world experience, and coaching at horse shows to fine-tune performance under competitive pressure. Furthermore, Sarah can show the horse on your behalf, ensuring your horse gains the exposure and experience necessary to excel.

Tune Up & Finish Program

WPH Tune Up & Finish program also requires a minimum commitment of 60 days. With expertise spanning multiple disciplines—including working cowhorse, western pleasure, reining, hunter/jumper, and barrel racing—we're equipped to enhance your horse's skills or address any challenges within their specific discipline. This includes patterning or tune-ups for barrel horses, as well as flag work and cattle work for cow horses (subject to cattle availability), alongside training in reined work maneuvers. This program is designed to refine your horse's abilities, ensuring they perform at their best.

Colt Starting Program

WPH Colt Starting Program mandates a minimum engagement of 90 days, where we focus on laying a solid foundation through extensive groundwork. The objective is to address any gaps early on, setting your horse up for long-term success. We prioritize building a colt's confidence in its tasks, ensuring it's well-prepared for future endeavors in any direction the owner chooses. A significant emphasis is placed on body control and softness from the onset of the horse's riding career. Understanding the importance of muscle memory in horses, we aim to instill fundamental skills early, making pliability a natural aspect of their development.
